What You'll Be Doing:
As a User Experience (UX) Researcher, you will be an integral part of our experience team, closely collaborating with Experience Designers and Managers to enhance our support experiences. Your role involves working with other UX Researchers to conduct insightful research that reveals consumer needs and expectations, from defining new experiences to delivering solutions that delight our consumers.
Responsibilities:
Conducting various insight activities such as front-end experience creation, design refinement (both in-person and remotely), and A/B testing.
Developing screening criteria, discussion guides, and activities for each stage of the research.
Moderating sessions and formulating compelling insights and narratives.
Uncovering both major and minor insights that drive new experiences and inform their development.
Presenting insights to stakeholders in a compelling manner to enhance understanding of consumer needs.
Escalating ongoing needs and issues to the UXR Senior Manager of Product Experience.
Managing recruiting and facilities firms, as well as remote testing panels and partners.
Ensuring participant comfort, maintaining confidentiality, and handling note-taking and video responsibilities among the core team.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in user research methods such as usability testing, user interviews, and remote studies.
Experience in defining and planning research methodologies within the context of project scope and timeline.
Preferred:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Sociology, or a related field.
Experience managing the recruitment process with vendors and ensuring the quality of lab operations.
Experience with secondary data analysis, trends, and learnings.
Expertise in moderating and planning ethnographies, one-on-ones, panels, and remote testing environments.
Skill in creating discussion guides and conducting qualitative generative research and evaluative methodologies.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on well-defined tasks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience providing insights to inform digital engagement (e.g., websites, apps, APIs).
Ability to ensure the proper technology and tools are in place to provide a positive lab experience for participants.
Experience crafting narratives that bring insights to life and integrating those insights into the designed experience.
Experience in partner, vendor, and resource management.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring both remote work and a minimum of eight assigned office days per month, as determined by your manager.

Compensation:
For work locations in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, or Washington, D.C., the compensation range for this position is between $114,000 and $211,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule. Salary will vary depending on location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted to reflect hours worked.
