General job duties. Types of procedures required. Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care. Primary patient populations: orthopedics ENT plastics general some trauma Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Primary procedures completed are orthopedics plastic surgery and ENT (pediatric and adult). Systems used: Zimmer Depuy Biomet and Striker total replacements. Experience in at least one of these systems is required. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT CRT BLS ACLS etc) BLS. Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins. Shift or schedule requirements.n open to late shift or 10 hour shifts Bed size/number of rooms/daily specimen/procedure count for this unit/dept. 27 OR suites. Average 75 to 100 cases per day Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided by organization.No artificial nails. Must be bare and natural.
Comments:must have strong neuro experience as well as knowledge of all specialties for this shift.Monday through Friday. Will need to stay late from time to time to finish cases. This time is not considered call back but an extension of the core shift. No weekends no call Cannot take a traveler who lives within a 60 mile radius of the hospital. Can take someone living 61 to 80 miles of the facility (will be considered local and client bill rate will be reduced by xx8.00.hour)
