We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dynamic Cisco Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Segment (GES) Premier Area. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering pre-sales technical expertise, designing innovative Cisco architectures, and showcasing the value of our cutting-edge solutions. Working closely with one of Cisco’s largest global accounts, you’ll lead the charge in driving digital transformation and achieving strategic business outcomes through advanced technology and thought leadership.
Your Impact
Master Cisco's Portfolio: Build expertise across Networking Cloud, Security Cloud, Collaboration, Full Stack Observability (FSO), and our Power of the Platform.
Drive Adoption: Integrate software and subscription solutions into technical strategies, ensuring recurring revenue and increased customer adoption.
Consultative Design: Translate customer requirements into scalable and integrated Cisco solutions while designing and delivering impactful proofs of value (PoVs), demos, and workshops using tools like dCloud, DevNet, and GVE.
Sales Expertise: Building Trust as a Technical Advisor
Strategic Engagement: Cultivate trusted relationships with technical and business decision-makers to align Cisco’s solutions with their goals.
End-to-End Selling: Lead technical engagements and demonstrate consultative selling skills by presenting tailored use cases, ROI analyses, and solution roadmaps that resonate with customers.
Leadership: Educating and Inspiring Others
Technology Evangelism: Articulate Cisco’s value to both technical and non-technical audiences through blogs, case studies, best practices, and events.
Mentorship: Foster growth by mentoring peers, customers, and partners, and collaborate with Cisco’s Business Units to shape product roadmaps.
Collaboration: Scaling Success Through Teamwork
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales teams, customer success teams, and service sellers to deliver comprehensive solutions and seamless transitions post-sale.
Tool Mastery: Leverage Salesforce (SFDC), Solution Builder, and other tools to enhance sales processes, measure success, and deliver impactful demos.
Solution Expert: Translate customer needs into Cisco solutions that drive outcomes and deliver value.
Customer Advocate: Build trusted relationships, enabling customers to leverage innovative technologies to meet their strategic goals.
Teacher and Leader: Inspire and educate colleagues and stakeholders, showcasing the impact of Cisco technologies.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, or data center industries, including experience with Cisco or competitor products.
Pre-sales experience and a strong understanding of customer environments.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills.
