Title: Power BI Developer

Location: Texas (Permanent remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

'We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our software conversion project. This role involves creating a robust enterprise dataset and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI and a solid understanding of data modelling, visualization, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Create an enterprise dataset from multiple data sources, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Power BI functionalities.
• Ensure best practices are followed for data visualization and reporting.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure) is a plus. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous but not required.
