We have two divisions: one offering innovative milk and whey protein ingredients tailored for the active nutrition and healthy lifestyle markets. 

With the other centered around Animal Nutrition, being a leading global provider of functional fats, milk replacers, bypass amino acids, and carbohydrates, serving livestock producers worldwide.

We are comprised of around 1k employees.

This role will be mainly based in Mountain Lake with occasional travel to Eden Prairie, Clara City & Hutchinson.

Day to day duties:

• Oversee compliance with environmental, health, and safety EHS standards and regulations. 
• Manage air, water, and WPDES permits. 
• Maintain Process Safety Management PSM programs and collaborate with site managers and consultants. Develop and implement EHS programs and policies. 
• Conduct safety training, inspections, and incident investigations. Ensure accurate record-keeping and legal compliance. 
• Lead plant safety committee and GMP audits. 
• Manage workers' compensation claims and work closely with regulators and corporate EHS.

Required:

• 5+ years of experience managing Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Environmental, Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DNR regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented, dynamic, innovative, results-driven, and self-motivated.
• Excellent leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
