Technique, Inc. is a Michigan-based stamping, tubing and welding facility offering the shortest lead-times and highest quality parts in the industry. We offer high-speed prototypes, ultra-low volume stampings, tubing and assemblies for production and emergency-based manufacturing for industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical and food processing.

Technique, Inc. is currently looking for a 2D laser technician with skills in metal finishing, blueprint reading and accurate decision-making for this skilled technical position. The position is responsible for the operations, programming, and maintenance of 2D flatbed laser cutting equipment, as well as changing tech tables for better cut conditions.
Available Shifts: Multiple shifts available:
Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
Monday-Thursday – 3:30pm-2:00am ($1.00 per hour shift premium)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
Job Responsibilities: - Metal finishing.
- The ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of the processes of TRUMPF and MAZAK lasers.
- Use of precision measuring equipment.
- Maintenance of 2D flatbed laser cutting equipment.
Required: - High School Diploma or GED.
- Vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center or Technical Trades Training).
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
